Dolphin House Samadai
Samadai is an off-shore reef located approximately 5 km Southeast of Marsa Alam and has a semi-circular shape. The reef is oriented E-to-W, forming a natural lagoon on the south. The protected waters of the lagoon provide a favorable habitat for a population of Spinner Dolphins ( Stenella longirostris). The Egyptian Red Sea coast is characterized by being exposed to wind; therefore protective reefs such as Samadai are exceptionally valuable habitats .
