- Director, scriptwriter, costume and set designer.
-Born In Alexandria on 15 March 1930.
Graduated from the Faculty of Fine Art, department of Architecture,
his tulor was the great Egyptian Architect Hassan Fathi (1955)
-He was an assistant director for Salah Abou Seif and Helmy Halim
(1957-1960).
-He participated in designing the sets of Cleopatra, directed by
Josel Mankiewiz (1964)
-He was assigned as historical costume and set consultant for the
feature film (Pharaoh), directed by Kawalerowicz (1965).
-He Disgned teh costumes and sets of the long documentary La Lotta
dell`uomo per la sua soprawivivenza (Fight For Survival), directed
by Rosselini.
-He Passed away in 8 October 1986. |
